Full Speed 03:31
Time is not a blessing It's a bridge you cannot see That must be crossed And all those who take their time Are missing the subtle point It's a race to the grave Take your time and miss your chance Or blaze through the wreckage And finish first At full speed I defied the limitations I earned the right to dictate my own tempo Who will slow me down Who feels like standing in my way All the slowly decomposing Bags of water and hot air They don't contribute anything at all If you're acting out of incompetence You're going to need those daggers up your sleeve To cut one's throat or stab them in the back You better act fast before the primer's struck Who will drag me down Who wants to stop a bullet with their head Morbid preoccupation with competition Let's see how fast you fall
2.
Only if you've been to the other side and made it back Will you realize there's nothing waiting for you to arrive It makes me sick They fear the unknown With mystery and speculations They've never come this far alone And everything they said, it was a lie Trivial complaints of the masses unwashed In selfish pursuits of unlimited cost Only in death they might see The time they have lost They shovel you inside the wooden box Before you have the time to shuffle off And kick your corpse into the hole If you're lucky they just might throw dirt on top And pretend you had a soul How noble it is to decompose Think of all the simple-minded worldly platitudes That justify obsessions with distractions from the truth No one needs to live beyond the age of 25 Find something to contribute or help us keep the worms alive Conniving schemes of noblemen and thieves That can't escape when the time comes One day you'll learn that death has no master
3.
Behold, a world in singularity I love to see it bleed From the throne of the hematocracy Like a frivolous king Wasting his riches It washes out the earth Slaughtered Percolated Next in line A monument so timeless The whole world is drowning in blood Drowning in blood My work here is done Until the next time The earth will be submerged Beneath the seas that flow For the god of blood The blood red dot has sanguiformed A worldwide ocean Seven billion venesections I've had my fill for now
4.
Guns that would tear the heavens down Firepower hell would covet Ubiquitous destruction It's in my hands It rains from a steel shorn sky Neutralizing area It looms all around you In catatonic state Explosions from nowhere On target and on time The guns are laid The bombs are on their way Your vapours are everywhere Stripped and scrambled by the thousands Running away for your lives At the mercy of ubiquitous cannons The body count is countless Exploding all around you A death so violent So certain It erases your existence The guns are laid The bombs are screaming on their way This area is neutralized Your shadow has disappeared
5.
When politics are in the way of action When authority is enemy And enemy is trite They all deserve to die Let the black hands of corruption fly Battle scars are the only things that I respect And rank is just a means to delegate the blame Your career is a tragedy Let's see you try and wash it clean Routine disillusionment I can smell the lies on your breath Off with their hands Amputate Piled high and deep Self-interest is malice Even if you twist in the breeze The hands get there first
6.
Exonerate I don't believe in good intentions You bastards already have a plan Before the severed hand falls I wouldn't trust officials As far as I can throw a stone You'd squeeze the tears From a rock And celebrate your cunning Die I've worked so hard to climb this high When ostentatious back biters Try to kill the scapegoat We all need someone to die I've fought so hard to get away From mercenary narcissists Extortion of the innocent We all need someone to die I didn't fall on my own sword I didn't chip my own shoulder We all need to die The fine art of betrayal The liar's refuge I call your bluff Kill the scapegoat Kill the scapegoat You better kill the scapegoat Before it takes revenge Let's raise a straw man A red herring to take the blame An effigy to burn Don't catch the flame Blackmail the black sheep Exile the sacrificial lamb A chopping block to cut the loss
7.
Far in the depths of the surreal Juxtapositions of truth Numb to the shock There is no explanation Only a right course of action Don't make the mistake Don't try to make sense of it all Scream nothing They don't understand What they never have seen Dead eyes of wars untold Too young to look so old Dead souls trapped inside Stoic, untraumatized Dead eyes of ancient dusk Reflecting back the world's disgust Dead focus that doesn't care If it lives or dies The eyes of the dead Ignorant bliss of the living The eyes of the dead The nihilism only they can know You see everything all at once And it makes no sense You see ugliness And you can't look away The proof of a perfect destruction Horrors you cannot unsee Visceral and gruesome No longer offending Dead eyes that can't look away They know too much

Can you smell the rot As opportunity knocks The foul stench of success This carcass in decay Well past it's sell-by date This time the fall comes before the pride The chameleon's changed it's shade But the same old song, to the same old tune is played Falling to the bait But the song still sounds the same Let's rot Come on, rot This carcass in decay Tell me, can you smell the rot The chameleon's changed it's shade But the same old song, to the same old tune is played Kill me, it's unbrave But the song remains the same Let's rot Come on, rot Commiserations Or celebrations Of a rejuvenation One time now Commiserations Or celebrations Of a rejuvenation Come on

They wouldn't believe themselves noble But humility is often a virtue In a circumstance so odd It might seem godlike to those Spoiled by peace Laid to rest With the highest exaltation Lest we forget They don't deserve to lie in Flanders Fields They can't enjoy the sentiments we want them to feel So we remember Rest in peace My brothers and sisters I will remember The heroes of war Lest we forget They gave us their lives Lest we forget The ultimate sacrifice Lest we forget For peace in the world Lest we forget The heroes of war Lest we forget They gave us their lives Lest we forget The ultimate sacrifice Lest we forget For peace in the world Lest we forget

Mortally bound in an endless cycle That's doomed to repeat The endless possibilities Neglected and incomplete To shuffle off and circumvent The chances to redeem Is glorified surrender Mediocrity to the extreme Cruel, sweet life How unforgiving The long grueling stretch Of inactivity I wasn't made to spoil To malinger in the aftermath I'd rather taste the blood In a blaze of glory Once again So plain and short Is the journey on Through the emptiness We think so highly of Just one more shot to excite the nerves The chemicals will free themselves Blazing out with glory Don't save me Don't let me dwell To live in pain Or die with fury And spit right into death's face Hanging on For god knows what So tell me Who wants to live forever Soaring on the windfall Let blood rain from the sky I've waited so long To scream in a blaze of glory

about

Death metal’s the Good the Bad and the Ugly proved their conviction on their second album, Accuracy By Volume. After working together through years of short-term projects during the 2000’s, they were united as Bombed Up in 2015. With Steve Pera, a suicidal adrenaline junkie, Callum McPhee, a cordial workaholic, and John Kay, an anti-social gamer.

Focused on speed and violence, Accuracy By Volume aimed to reprise the escalating climaxes, and bombastic lyrical themes, from their debut record Deadly And Virile. Despite the blood clot in his neck that ended is singing career, Kay provides guest backing vocals on a few songs. McPhee plays bass on this record allowing Pera to focus primarily on the guitar.
